The abbreviation “HS” stands for Health and Sustainability, and this new variant offers numerous benefits for installers and the environment in general.
Healthier and more pleasant to work with
WELDANO TURGA HS is much less of an odour nuisance and contains fewer hazardous substances. The new product mixture has been successfully tested according to the demanding criteria of the Committee for Health-Related Evaluation of Construction Products (AgBB) of the German Federal Environment Agency. It helps create a significantly more pleasant working environment and achieves excellent results in the hazardous substance testing. All of this makes WELDANO TURGA HS an ideal choice when working indoors, particularly in production facilities and when pre-fabricating made-to-order roofing membranes.
Efficient and reliable bonding
The WELDANO TURGA HS welding liquid is used when homogeneously welding the overlaps between lengths of SOLITEX WELDANO 3000. The original WELDANO TURGA and the new variant WELDANO TURGA HS work the same way: both dissolve the surface of WELDANO membranes so that a strong, reliable homogeneous bond is created by solvent welding. The key difference here is the modified solvent composition and the associated change in the application temperature for installation work.
WELDANO TURGA HS can only be applied at temperatures above +10 °C (50 °F), while WELDANO TURGA can be applied at lower temperatures.
