Mais sur le chantier, cela peut poser probl\u00e8me, parce qu&rsquo;en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, les colles molles poss\u00e8dent de faibles forces de coh\u00e9sion.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Or, la prudence est de mise\u00a0! La colle qui a si bien \u00e9pous\u00e9 la structure du pouce peut tout aussi vite s\u2019en \u00e9couler\u00a0; le principe est le m\u00eame que celui du miel\u00a0: il adh\u00e8re vite \u00e0 la cuill\u00e8re, mais il s&rsquo;en \u00e9coule rapidement sous l&rsquo;effet de son poids propre, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ne laisser plus qu\u2019un mince film sur la cuill\u00e8re. Ce test avec le pouce ne convient pas pour \u00e9valuer la qualit\u00e9 d\u2019une colle. Un autre proc\u00e9d\u00e9 courant, tout aussi inappropri\u00e9, consiste \u00e0 coller le ruban adh\u00e9sif sur un support, puis \u00e0 essayer de l\u2019arracher \u00e0 nouveau peu de temps apr\u00e8s. C\u2019est pourquoi une solidit\u00e9 coh\u00e9sive suffisante est importante.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sur le chantier, d\u2019autres forces agissent sur le collage\u00a0; en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, ce sont de faibles forces de traction persistantes \u00e0 long terme. Un test qui permet une bonne \u00e9valuation de la r\u00e9sistance des rubans adh\u00e9sifs \u00e0 ces forces de traction est le test de cisaillement statique. Il consiste \u00e0 coller un ruban adh\u00e9sif sur un film, puis \u00e0 le solliciter en cisaillement avec un poids de 200\u00a0g sur une superficie de 10\u00a0cm\u00b2. Les colles molles commencent bient\u00f4t \u00e0 l\u00e2cher sous la charge et le poids s&rsquo;en d\u00e9tache. Lors d\u2019un test r\u00e9alis\u00e9 sur deux ans avec 47\u00a0rubans adh\u00e9sifs diff\u00e9rents, 40 collages n\u2019ont pas tenu le coup. Seuls 7\u00a0rubans ont pu r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la charge.<\/p>\n<p>Malheureusement, certains rubans adh\u00e9sifs sont con\u00e7us de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 convaincre l\u2019artisan par un test avec le pouce ou une pression initiale. Ils ne sont cependant pas destin\u00e9s aux sollicitations r\u00e9elles pr\u00e9dominantes, une fois le montage termin\u00e9.
